Motion Designer (Paid + Organic Social)
The Opportunity
Voy is looking for a Motion Designer who is excited by the pace, creativity, and impact of social-first content. This role spans both paid and organic channels, with the majority of your time focused on performance-driven paid social across platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
You’ll own the post-production craft end-to-end — editing footage, designing graphics, and building motion that brings ideas to life. Working closely with strategists and videographers, you’ll turn approved concepts into compelling, platform-native films, owning execution from edit through to final delivery.
This is a motion-first role, but strong graphic design skills are essential. You will create the graphics yourself, building layouts, typography, and visual systems from scratch before animating them. We’re looking for someone motivated by creating social content that doesn’t just look good, but genuinely performs and drives measurable impact.
What you’ll do
Create social-first content across paid and organic channels, primarily focused on paid social
Own post-production end-to-end, including editing, motion design, and graphic creation
Turn strategic briefs and approved concepts into high-performing, platform-native social films
Edit footage into formats optimised for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels
Design all on-screen graphics, typography, and layouts from scratch
Animate motion systems and visual assets that elevate storytelling and performance
Produce multiple creative variations for testing, learning, and iteration
Collaborate closely with strategists, videographers, and editors to enhance creative output
Apply performance insights and data to continuously improve creative effectiveness
Ensure all content maintains strong brand coherency across platforms
Who you are
Strong visual judgement and attention to detail
Advanced motion design skills with high proficiency in After Effects
Excellent editing ability in Premiere Pro (or equivalent)
Strong understanding of pacing, rhythm, and storytelling in short-form content
Experience creating performance-driven paid social creative
Ability to transform raw footage into polished, engaging content
Strong typography, layout, hierarchy, and composition skills
Portfolio demonstrating both design and motion execution
Deep understanding of social-first content and platform behaviours
Strong intuition for hooks, early-frame engagement, and scroll-stopping moments
Comfortable working in fast, iterative environments
Motivated by improving work through testing, learning, and performance insights
Driven to create work that delivers real-world impact
